At Café Warung Pas, we bring the comfort and warmth of homemade Indonesian food into a shared space.
Inspired by the lively energy of warungs and the creativity of the Indonesian diaspora, our dishes honor the flavors and traditions passed down by ibu-ibu memasak (mothers who cook).

How it started
A way to stay connected.
During the pandemic, chef Petra Moerbeek began @indo_ricebowl to share Indonesian comfort food. The project grew into a community and with it came the wish for a place to gather.
A pop-up at Sexyland World, Noordwal 1, made that possible: a welcoming table for food, conversation and new connections.
How it is going
At home in Noord.
After the pop-up, we returned to Noordwal 1 in collaboration with Het Dorp. A refreshed restaurant, the food we love and a place to spend time together.
Pas means “just right” in Bahasa Indonesia. We hope you feel that when you join us.
